A combination of newly imposed tariffs by the US and plummeting oil prices has caused a major decline in stock markets in the Middle East. Saudi Arabia’s Tadawul stock exchange fell by nearly 7 percent on Sunday, while Qatar’s QE exchange dropped 4.2 percent, and Kuwait’s primary index fell 5.7 percent.
